For those who are married and who have already gone through the experience of having a child, you’ll know immediately what a major benefit having an institution like this is for the Muslim women about to experience one of the most life changing events.

Having an Islamically focused, private and caring environment which caters to all your Islamic rights while going through the difficulties of child birth should be a right afforded to all Muslim women, though many have to endure extremely uncomfortable situations in both private and public hospitals out of necessity.

The Institution was founded by Dr Anver Adam, who many years ago realised the need for a protective space for muslim women to bring their children into this world without fear of compromising their principles or having their modestly exposed.

“At that time, he had a patient who had done everything possible to guard her modesty leading up to the birth. She made sure she only saw female doctors and specialists, but on the day of the birth, a male nurse entered the room at a critical moment and there was nothing she could do about it. It made him realise how many other women were in the same position and that gave birth to the idea of a maternity home that would cater for the ethical needs of Muslim women or any other woman concerned about modesty,” Dr Adam’s wife, Fazila, explained.
